Work that makes an impact.

After years of receiving excellent coaching, I was looking for a slightly different approach: one that blended the bias for reflective action of traditional coaching with a deeper, more intuitive, contemplative awareness. Beth Estock is a coach who holds these two fields together in a beautiful, natural, honest, and challenging way. Working with her has helped me be attentive to the integration and healing of fragmented parts/selves within my own person – as a dimension of God’s ongoing summons to me as a leader, as a pastor, as a professional manager of staff, as a disciple of Jesus, and as a more fully alive human being. Beth’s process is extremely inductive: it starts deep and goes deeper, building trust, awareness, and spiritual humility and confidence from session to session. I often left a coaching session with Beth not only with a clearer sense of what was mine to do but also with something of the peace that passes understanding: a awakening to God’s movement and a fresh sense of how I’m called to undergo it.
Working with Beth has been transformational and I recommend her to anyone who wants to go deep into the work and the work beneath the work!

Beth taught me not to be afraid of my inner strength. By helping me listen to my body and emotions, she helped me discover an internal wisdom that I didn’t know was there. Tapping into that assuredness has helped me discern what is right for the organization I lead and to be confident in taking action accordingly, even when I know others will be frustrated or disagree.
Beth made me work hard, and never let me off the hook. I continue to see new fruits of that work everyday.
-Katelin Hansen, PhD, Director of Operations, Community Development for All People
Beth Estock’s integrative coaching method combined with her natural gifts for leadership development, is stellar. Drawing from a wide range of interdisciplinary resources, self-care practices, and the hard-won wisdom of life experience, Beth calls forth the strengths and the untapped capacities of her clients. After only a few sessions with Beth I began to reach the leadership goals I set.
I recommend Beth to anyone who wants to increase their impact, capacities, authenticity and inner freedom as leaders.

I have been working with Beth for a few months, and I really appreciate how heart centered her approach to coaching is. She created a safe space and listened intently to get to the root of where I needed the most support, and how I could elevate my work and style of leadership. I love her use of metaphors to identify my existing habits, and through meditation, focus practice, and having clear developmental objectives helped me realize that I can move into braver spaces feeling more grounded and with less fear.
Beth approaches with this work with extreme grace and compassion. I am most thankful for our connection and the work we have done together. Simply put: she is amazing!

I highly recommend Beth Estock for executive coaching. Her integral approach gave me important insights into my habits of
leadership style applicable to my work leading collaborative international research groups on complex problems, as well as
to personal relationships. Her focus on body awareness as a source of wisdom and insight formed valuable synergies with my
recent efforts in meditation and breathing. Her use of metaphors to capture existing habits and beliefs and transform to
a new way of leading was extremely helpful.
Beth is a personable, respectful, and genuinely caring coach.

“I know your heart and your work, and Beth Estock is the best person in the country to coach you.”
I’m so glad I listened to the colleague and mentor who said those words to me. They have proven true at every turn during the time Beth has worked with me. She is an extremely astute listener with deep insight into the specific challenges of my work. She is a coach in the best and truest sense of the word: an ally who speaks with equal and appropriate parts wisdom, challenge, and compassion to the moments in which I find myself. She took the time not only to get to know me, but my team, and has been able to coach with our big picture and group dynamic in view. As a person whose work has him in waters unfamiliar not only to him but to virtually his entire collegial world, Beth has been able to help me stay my challenging course and to develop language and practices to convey ideas that are quite challenging to the status quo. Her clarity of thought and expression has been particularly helpful in the most challenging times. On top of all of that, Beth’s humor and fearlessness have provided a framework for an exceptionally fruitful coaching relationship. As a coach myself, I recognize both a good coach and a good fit.
Beth has met every expectation I could have had.

Examining your own leadership style can be frightening and unsettling, and yet critical for authentic and maximum effectiveness.
Beth invited me into a creative process that encouraged me to become more fully aware of my internal landscape and how it shapes
my behaviors as an executive leader. This was not always comfortable, but Beth’s powerful questions and her experiential exercises
provided courageous space to develop new leadership muscles.
I am forever grateful for the transformative impact Beth’s wisdom, challenge and support has had on my own leadership.
- Dee Stickley-Miner, Director of Connectional Ministries, West Ohio Conference
My coaching relationship with Beth has been twofold: first we worked together for a year on my personal and professional development; then, because I found her coaching so effective, I asked her to give my whole school staff a workshop on communication. Beth approached both aspects of our work together with kindness, love and wisdom. Her sense of humor is infectious.
As a result, I personally am more confident and carefully, inclusively decisive in my leadership. My staff has been able to make a communication agreement that we read aloud at the start of every All Staff meeting, and that subtly influiences our interactions with each other as we go about our work with children.
We have even been able to identify what is working with our communication, and what challenges we still face in our collective space as a community. I whole-heartedly recommend Beth, both as a personal coach and as a workshop presenter. I am grateful for her guidance and caring.
- Cathy Swan, M.Ed. Head of School - Montessori School of Beaverton, Portland, Oregon
I have known Beth for many years but I had no idea how her insight and coaching would help me. Through active listening,
challenging questions and intriguing practices, Beth helped me remember why I chose this field in the beginning of my
career and why it still means so much to me now.
The new awareness I have discovered through working with Beth has given me a new lease on my career, my health and even my personal life.
I am forever grateful.
- Kay Panovec, Director of Communications for West Ohio Conference
I highly recommend Beth Estock as a leadership coach and consultant. When I first connected with Beth, I was a leader
wandering aimlessly, but longing for things to be different. I knew if I wanted things to change, I needed to change, but I
didn’t know how. Beth met me where I was, validated me, and helped me chart a course for becoming the leader I longed
to become. Beth’s gift to me was helping me understand and offer grace to myself as I grew into the leader that God created
me to be. She has the special ability to ask probing questions that unlock the answers within, leading to greater
self-awareness and confidence in one’s ability to lead. Beth’s approach is personable, genuine, joy-full, and insightful.
Beth was instrumental in helping me become a healthier version of myself, which, in-turn, allows me to be a healthier
leader for the congregations and communities I serve.
- Rev. Don Bird, Lead Pastor, Broomfield United Methodist Church, Colorado
Beth walked alongside me during a time when I needed to make significant professional decisions that posed great
risk to my personal well-being. She helped me locate the fears that were holding me back and carefully guided me into
braver spaces. Her way with confrontation was a complement to mine. Beth’s professional network and experience is
diverse and broad. She shared with me from personal, professional and spiritual experiences with appropriate attention to
my unique needs. I am cautious when I refer friends to coaching because I have trouble finding a coach who understands
what it means to be in this role with people of color like myself. However, I would encourage people who identify as
female or people of color to consider working with Beth because she takes a humble posture when my experience
contradicts hers which I found empowering and trustworthy.
Beth earned her place as a sage in my life and I consider her one of my accomplices to this day.
- Abigail Vizcarra Perez, MDiv, Diversity Outreach Specialist, Metroparks Tacoma
Over our six year coaching relationship, Beth helped me to grow as a pastor and professional. She did this by
meeting me where I was. Early on she supported me in my identity and confidence as a church planter and
pastor. Concurrently she also helped me analyze systems and processes that could be helpful in building the
congregation. What I appreciate most about Beth is that she has the ability to ask questions that uncover my
own mental or spiritual blocks. Once they were named, it allowed me the freedom to move forward. Toward
the end of our time together, as I was navigating advancement in my professional life.
Beth asked the right questions to help me gain clarity about next steps.
- Brittany Isaac, Superintendent of Chicago Northwestern District of the UMC
Words cannot adequately express the gratitude I have for Beth Estock. Our coaching relationship was a key factor
in the successful start of Life in the City UMC in urban south Austin. Her expertise and effective analysis of our
emerging ministry was invaluable in helping me refine our focus with post-institutional people in our community.
She’s a great encourager and expert networker, connecting me with church leaders around the nation doing the
kinds of innovative ministry we were considering.
I highly recommend Beth as a coach for anyone interested in
being more impactful and reaching new people in new ways with the love of God in Christ.
